KidKreator ("we," "us," or "our") operates kidkreator.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about your family.

WHO WE ARE

KidKreator is a platform where kids teach video classes under parent supervision. All child accounts are created and managed by a verified parent or guardian.

COPPA COMPLIANCE

KidKreator complies fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the FTC's 2025/2026 Rule amendments. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. All child profiles are created by a parent or guardian who provides consent on behalf of their child.

WHAT WE COLLECT

For parent accounts: first name, email address, password (encrypted), account type, consent timestamp, and IP address at time of consent.

For kid creator profiles (created by parents only): child's first name, age, teaching topic, short bio, and profile photo. We do not collect a child's last name, email address, phone number, school name, or location.

For classes: title, description, thumbnail image, video URL or file, content type, and access setting.

For subscriptions: subscriber user ID, creator profile ID, Stripe subscription ID, and subscription status. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information collected solely to operate the KidKreator platform — to display creator profiles, process subscriptions, and facilitate earnings for kid creators. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

WHAT IS PUBLICLY VISIBLE

Kid creator profiles are publicly visible and display: child's first name, age, teaching topic, bio, and profile photo. No last name, school, location, or contact information is ever displayed publicly.

DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Parents may delete their child's profile at any time from the parent dashboard. Deletion permanently removes all associated data — profile, classes, videos, and reviews — from our servers. We do not retain child data after deletion. Parents may also request a download of their child's data at any time using the "Download my child's data" button in the parent dashboard.

PARENTAL RIGHTS

As a parent or guardian, you have the right to:

  • Review your child's personal information at any time
  • Delete your child's profile and all associated data at any time
  • Download a copy of your child's data at any time
  • Withdraw consent by deleting your account

SECURITY

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), encrypted password storage, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage parents to use strong passwords and contact us immediately if they suspect unauthorized access.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We will notify registered parent accounts by email if we make material changes to this Privacy Policy. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
